Album Artwork for Beijing's EP "It's Not So Simple"
New Haven based rock band Beijing looked to DeMarco Interactive to illustrate their debut EP "It's Not So Simple" while preparing for its release on iTunes. Guitarist Thom Smith had a vision of a very simple drawing depicting a man holding an umbrella which contained a rain cloud. The band wanted the artwork to visually echo their sound which is described as "quirky and raw, but... delicate".
DeMarco Interactive Business Card Design
Business card design for DeMarco Interactive makes dramatic use of color, contrast, and scale intending to stand out in a stack of cards without screaming "notice me". QR code gimmick on the back makes it easy and fun for people to scan the card with their smart phone and be taken directly to the demarcointeractive.com website. Handmade Wedding Invitations
Wedding invitations and included RSVP card were designed for an intimate, out-door, ocean-side ceremony. Colors, materials, and typesetting were carefully chosen to create a semi-traditional invitation bestowing upon the viewer a sense of the conventional and the progressive - a contrast intended to reflect the personality of the betrothed couple.
Invitations were hand-printed and individually assembled for all invitees.
Vibrant Media Logo Redesign
Worked alongside an external design agency to come up with this updated version of Vibrant Media's existing logo. The word "media" was dropped from the design and the icon was given a more tactile, user-interface-like appearance creating a "Web 2.0" look and feel. Logo comes in CMYK, RGB, 1, 2, and 3 color variations for use in print and online.

Vine Palate Logo
Logo design for Vine Palate, a "wine tasting community" website. Online identity package includes logotype with tagline, brand mark symbol, and icon.
Logotype with Tagline
The Vine Palate logotype aims to be strong and elegant like a glass of wine, modern to embody its presence and relevance on the internet, and classic to connect with wine making and wine tasting's rich history. The logotype uses a customized version of Century Gothic.
While the logotype balances strength with elegance and modernity with classicism, the tag line attempts to connect with the user by employing a handwritten font - softening the overall logo shape and enforcing the concept that Vine Palate is about the collective experiences of its wine tasters.
Brand Mark Symbol
A letter V which has been sculpted into the shape of a wine glass and filled with a sample of wine. This mark symbolizes both the first letter of the Vine Palate brand name as well as the foundation upon which the site was built - wine tasting.
Mighty Michael Children's Book
Unpublished children's book concept about a little boy with a big imagination. Each scene begins with "Mighty" Michael imagining himself within an epic scenario and follows up with what he's actually doing in real life while avoiding bedtime.
